Duzac Will Not Pay Part of its Debt in December
Argentine businessman, Gaston Duzac, who had previously committed in November 7 to pay the loan of $ 800,000 received by COFIEC Bank, an entity that is managed by the Ugedep dismissed making a new payment in December. Julio Plaza Rada, the attorney of Duzac in Ecuador, confirmed this.
“According to what I was talking last Monday with my client, we will not make any progress in December,” said Plaza Rada.
Duzac’s lawyer also explained the progress in negotiations with executives of Scanbuy Argentina, who were the last to deposit the money acquired after Duzac took the funds out of the country and transferred it to two accounts, one in Switzerland and one in the USA.
Finally Plaza Rada revealed that Duzac expects that John Hussey, current president of Scanbuy Argentina, to return the funds in order to pay the debt in Ecuador.
