Ecuador does not facilitate doing business

Information collected by El Universo Newspaper and gathered in Barcelona (Spain) said that Ecuador does not offer facilities for starting business, so in a ranking done in the presence of 185 countries, it is ranked 169.

According to data provided by the World Bank along with the International Finance Corporation, in a report called Doing Business, in handling of construction permits is ranked 104, in getting electricity is 146, in the property register is 101, in obtaining credit is 83, on investment protection is 139, in taxes is 84, in border trade is 128, in compliance of contracts is 99 and insolvency resolution is 137.

Doing Business is a hard task in Ecuador

Its neighbors, Peru and Colombia, occupy positions 43 and 45, and, Venezuela and Argentina are located in the 152 and 154 place. All of them are above Bolivia which marks 174.
