Ecuador opens to investments in the World Business Forum

With the presence of President Lenin Moreno, the World Business Forum Ecuador Chapter meeting takes place in Quito. It is an event that brings together entrepreneurs from Latin America, where topics such as interconnection, Industry 4.0, access to new technologies, among others, will be discussed.

It is also a space for exchange that seeks to generate proposals for greater economic and social growth in the region, according to Richard Martínez, Minister of Economy and Finance.

Martinez said that this space will boost the Ecuadorian business sector in favor of productive investments in the country, since it is generating a great change in the economic model and abandoning 21st Century Socialism “that drew us a dark horizon”.

The event is organized by the Association of Latin American Industrialists (AILA), the National Chamber of Industries (CNI) and the Chamber of Industry and Production (CIP). This is done for the first time in Ecuador.

Martinez added that the path of prosperity defines a correct insertion of Ecuador in an urbanized economy. “Entrepreneurs have their support, they have an open path to forget 10 years of mistakes and by decision, to support this process of historical change,” he said.

The President referred to businessmen as the drivers of the development of nations. “You are the greatest generators of employment and wealth, and also your work promotes a broad exchange of knowledge.” (I)
