Ecuador will begin negotiations with the EU

According to the Ministry of Foreign Trade (MCE for its Spanish acronym), from the next January 13 until January 17 at Brussels, Ecuador and the European Union (EU), will hold the first round of negotiations for the Multiparty Trade Agreement between participants.

Ecuador’s negotiating team will be headed by Undersecretary of Trade Negotiations and Economic Integration of the MCE, Ambassador Roberto Betancourt, and will be complemented by several other officials from various public institutions.
