Ecuadorian farmers travel to Spain

An Ecuadorian delegation, made up of officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) and farmers, traveled to Spain this Saturday to learn about various production processes.
The group has a long history in the agricultural sector, especially in the integral management of irrigation. The appointment responds to the invitation of the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID), whose purpose is to exchange experiences of irrigation and sustainable agriculture.
The participation of this committee will allow replicating the shared and learned experiences in the national territory.
The technical visit, from June 22 to July 1, will be made to the cities of Madrid, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia, Almeria, Malaga and Granada. Fernando Ruiz, of the Píllaro-Tungurahua Irrigation System, thanked for the opportunity to acquire “important experiences for agricultural production”
