El Universo Case: New Investigation to Judge Paredes’ Computer was Ordered by the District Attorney

Last Friday the district attorney of Guayas, Antonio Gagliardo, accepted the request made by the defence of Newspaper El Universo. Now the Court will investigate the hard drive of the computer used by Courthouse number 15th.

The technical report was scheduled for last Friday, but the director of Courthouse 15th, Oswaldo Sierra, postponed the investigation schedule Saturday because the computer was being used. However, the following day there was no judicial official to authorize the action. Another attempt to retreat the device is planned for today. (AV)
