Emapag will analyze today’s proposal from Interagua
Today at 17:00 the directory of the Municipal Water and Sewage Company of Guayaquil (Emapag for its Spanish acronym), will meet and evaluate a second proposal sent by Interagua, to deal the continuation or termination of the concession contract.

Interagua branch in Coronel and Maldonado attended yesterday on a regular basis, although the windows of the building were closed.
The proposal, according to a press bulletin released by Emapag, was sent by the concessionaire at about 23:51 on Sunday, within the legal deadline, which expired at midnight.
The first Interagua’s proposal came last Friday composed of a communication and a trust annex, which was rejected the very next day.
It was learned yesterday that the legal and technical departments of Emapag will be responsible of analyzing the document delivered by Interagua, to prepare a report to be evaluated in detail by the board.
Emapag board is formed by municipal directors Jorge Berrezueta (Public Works), Camilo Ruiz (Environment), Jose Nuñez (Town Planning, Valuation and Work Records), Rafael Estrada, representing the Provincial Council, Andres Mendoza, designated through Guayaquil cantonal Council as chairman.
