Emelec starts second phase of the South American Cup in Chile

With a good result in the first leg played against Universidad Catolica de Chile, the millionaire team seeks to overcome the second round of the South American tournament to get into the final fight, motivated by an easy definition of the first phase before Sport Huancayo in Peru, to which the blue team won two matches, while his rival drew the match, as local,  and beat the  Cerro Porteno of Paraguay as visitor.

Both teams lost their last games for local tournaments, but remain in stellar positions and both have some casualties of their regular players for this match. In Emelec, its goalkeeper Dreer did not traveled neither  its   top scorer De Jesus, while Universidad Catolica will not have Tomas Costa.

The match will be at 18:15 (Ecuador time) in the San Carlos de Apoquindo stadium in Santiago.
