Emelec wins vice championship and qualifies to the Libertadores Cup

Today, Sport Club Emelec established its second place in the final positions board and took the vice championship in the national tournament, defeating Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito with an aggregate score of 3-1.

After Emelec’s victory of 1-2 last weekend at Casa Blanca, the blue electrics received the albos in the George Capwell Stadium.

Once in the stadium, Emelec took its 1 – 0 victory with a goal from Marlon de Jesus in the 77th minute, thanks to an effective move of Enner Valencia.
