Eurozone trade surplus grows in June compared to 2011

According to preliminary data released today by the EU statistical office, Eurostat, in June, the euro area resulted in a growth considered to 14,900 million euros in the trade balance surplus, compared to the balance of 200 million recorded in June last year.
In the countries of the euro, exports grew 12% compared to June 2011, while imports only rose by 2%.
While the foreign trade surplus in June this year, the European Union (EU), was 400 million euros, compared with a deficit of 15,300 million euros recorded in June 2011.
