Five months after receiving the acquittal for allegedly hacking and disseminating information from the accounts of former President Rafael Correa and others,Fernando Villavicencio filed a complaint for qualified theft against 40 people, this Thursday, November 22, 2018.

In addition to Correa, Jorge Glas, Jorge Blum, Galo Chiriboga, Gabriela Rivadeneira, José Serrano and justice operators who participated in the search of their home five years ago were denounced.

The activist said that what happened in December 2013, when they raided his home, was the theft of information to prevent society from knowing the evidence of corruption.

According to Villavicencio, the National Secretariat of Intelligence (Senain) was used,on the orders of the ex-governor, to follow up and persecute him and theex-ambassador Cléver Jiménez.

Heassures that there are reports that expose the participation of Senain, UGSI and DGI in the search. Luis Fernández, his lawyer, warned that there would be concurrence of crimes that must be investigated by the Office of the Prosecutor. (I)
