Four beach resorts in the ‘Route of the fanesca’

San Pablo, Curia, Olon and Ballenita will be the four communes of the Ecuadorian coast that will be part of the ‘Route of the fanesca’ , organized since 2010 by PICA.

It is a gastronomic and ecological Conference whose objective is to promote the culture of permanent recycling in this area of the country, as well as the Ecuadorian gastronomy.

“With PICA recycle”, the brand makes the invitation to those who wish to be part of this journey to redeem ten plastic bottles plus five glass bottles, for a bowl of fanesca, which will be prepared by the inhabitants of these four beach resorts, and delivered in the communal longhouses of each place.

In the last three years around 15,000 villagers in the route of the Spondylus have been part of it, and have been collected over 215 tons of waste between plastic, glass, paper, cardboard and metals.
