The morning of this Monday, he pointed out that it would be a persecution, after the public dissemination of a video showing the struggle between a street vendor and agents of the Metropolitan Police.
“After having shown the community violent images by the metropolitans, they sent me a penalty card where they imposed a fine of $ 5000, leaving me defenseless, violating due process and disrespecting their own ordinance whose maximum sanction, in case of having shown the infraction, it would be a maximum of 10 unified basic salaries ($ 3,940) “.
The candidate of the PRIAN party – List 7, specified that “after the immediate actions of my lawyers, and in which the violation of our constitutional rights was proved in a forceful way, the nullity of the case was declared and the fine was dropped imposed. “
Cornejo again confirmed that at no time did she fail to comply with the law and she rebuked the candidate for the PSC – Madera de Guerrero, Cynthia Viteri, by mentioning that she and her work group abused the public space by using municipal assets to attach banners alluding to his campaign and that is also present in the inaugurations of works where only the mayor Jaime Nebot has to be.
