Using the power of social networks (Facebook and Twitter), an “outraged” group has called their fellow Quito people to form part of the “pots and pans” with the idea of rejecting the management made by the mayor of the capital, Augusto Barrera.
The call is for today December 6 at 16:30 in the Foch Square located in Reina Victoria and Mariscal Foch.
The march organizers say the event will be peaceful and is headed to the Sucre Theater located in Esmeraldas and Guayaquil streets, central Quito, place where a solemn session honoring the 478 years of the founding of the city, is being held.
Representatives of the “pots and pans” hope to deliver a letter listing the alleged breaches of Barrera’s plan presented when he was a candidate. (MZ)
