Groups search for space in the ballot of 2017

Five national groups ‘fight’ for their legal status in the National Electoral Council (CNE for its acronym in spanish). The groups are “Fuerza ¡Compromiso Social!”, “Izquierda Democrática (ID)”, “Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante”, “Democracia Sí” and “Conduce”.

The NEC (CNE) is verifying the signatures (if it´s about movements) or affiliations (groups) that these presented months ago. The process started in mid-April and will end at the end of this month.

In total, 976.896 signatures of seven national groups (with and without legal status) and of seven locals will be revised. The NEC informed that the next month they will process the ones of other groups that sent signatures previously (I).
