Designing strategies to improve affiliation processes and develop new collection and collection management mechanisms are the objectives of an agreement signed this Friday, October 12 between the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS).
In addition, both institutions committed to carry out cooperation work that would allow the extension of social security coverage for independent workers.
The agreement will be valid for 36 months and the so-called Technical Assistance Program in Social Security (Patss) will be executed, which will prioritize dialogue days between the Government, employers and employees, explained Manolo Rodas, chairman of the IESS board.
Rodas explained that human talent will be trained to strengthen the capabilities of the work teams. (I)
