In 90 days will be presented new institutional design of the Executive

The maximum limit to have the transition process of ministries ready is 90 days. The Minister of Foreign Trade, Pablo Campana, said that public officials who are good, efficient and honest should not fear to be fired.

“The idea is to look for efficiency. There cannot be two directors of human or financial resources, “he explained.

On the absorption of the Ministry of Industries, Campana indicated that officials will be evaluated. “We are going to be very demanding. In the private sector measured by the results, the same has to be in the public sector.”

He said they are willing to make a great team with the best officials in the country. The national secretary of Planning, José Agusto Briones, said on Tuesday, August 28, to the media that initially 900 officials have been identified linked to areas of administrative, financial and legal support that would be in the process of disengagement in the coming months.

He clarified that the process of adjustment has as a principle to maintain the services of the State, especially to vulnerable sectors and guaranteeing education and health. “It’s a technical process that takes into account the human factor.” (I)
