Inamhi forecasts intense cold until Saturday

The low temperatures in Azuay will remain until the night of Friday, September 7 according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, INAMHI.

Since early Thursday, several citizens posted on their social networks the intensity of cold in the city. According to ETAPA, in the Cajas National Park, the temperature will drop to -4 degrees Celsius.

According to INAMHI, low temperatures are caused by the entry of a cold mass of air from the south of the continent.

This climatic phenomenon occurs during the night and early morning in the south of the country. It is expected that as of Saturday, temperatures will gradually return to normal. (I)
