Independiente ties in the Libertadores

The Ecuadorian team Independiente del Valle and the Chilean team Union Española drew a 2-2 (1-0) in the match waged on last Tuesday in the Andean town of Sangolquí, for the first round of Group 2 of the Libertadores Cup 2014.

The goals were scored by Ecuadorians Junior Sornoza (31 minutes by penalty) and Fernando Guerrero (58) for Independiente and Chilean Sebastián Jaime (54) and Cristian Chavez (59) for Union Española.
