International Oversight is Questions Judge Selection

The international oversight, chaired by Baltasar Garzon, created for the process of justice reform, found flaws and did not had a coherent explanation regarding the notes of six judges of the National Court of Justice, positioned on 26 January.
According to what is stated in the last report, the questioned judges are Lucy Blacio, Merino Wilson, Wilson Andino, Paul Iniguez and Ximena Vintimilla the latter was the one who asked the capture and seizure of the assets of the former president Jamil Mahuad.
In the report, the legislator Andres Paez, who has been reporting these facts, was satisfied because, he said, his pronouncements were well received. He will continue to investigate and accusing the members of the Transitional Judicial Council.
