Judges who declared the colonel Carrión innocent were dismissed
Posted On 19 Apr 2012
Three judges who declared the colonel César Carrión innocent were dismissed by the Transitory Advice of the Judicature. The cause of this action was “the most serious disciplinary infraction”.
In the report of the minister of Justice, Johanna Pesántez, she accused that the judges should have arranged a new process for the criminal offense that adjusts to the actions they did on September 30.
However, the judges determined that the evidence did not fit the type of criminal murder for which they were charged that day.
The interior minister, José Serrano, said they were going to take action with the members of the court after hearing the sentence. (PLS)
