Julian Assange will participate in the UN

Julian Assange will participate in the UN forum digitally.
The Foreign Ministry said today in a statement that the United Nations (UN) will held a forum entitled “The Diplomatic Asylum: strengthening the international human rights system.”
The meeting will be led by Ecuadorian Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patiño, and, through video conference, the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, will also participate.
The event will take place today in the halls of the UN headquarters in New York, at 17:30. (MZ)
