Latin America is the Best Region for Micro Finances

Latin America is the world’s best region with a good environment for micro finances businesses, according to a study made by the Economic Intelligence Unit with the support of the Inter American Development Bank (BID) presented in Costa Rica.

According to the report, Peru and Bolivia are the countries with the most favorable conditions for micro finances. Other countries in the first 12 spots are, El Salvador, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Paraguay.

The BID President, Luis Alberto Moreno added that the micro finances practiced by small industries in Latin America are a great source of employment. This guarantees other countries a security on future businesses. (AV)
