Legal uncertainty on Lasso-Tituaña Binomial

Last Monday, Auki Tituaña (left) went to the CNE to find out about the procedures for his registration in CREO.
Last Monday, Guillermo Lasso’s binomial for the 2013 elections, Auki Tituaña, presented the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) a certificate of acceptance to the decision of expulsion made by the Pachakutik movement (PK).
However, it is known that it was not PK who sanctioned the act of “betrayal” of Tituaña, but the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (CONAIE for its Spanish acronym).
Tituaña will have to wait for the CNE legal report to know once and for all if it is completely legal to accompany Lasso in the Creando Oportunidades movement (CREO). The CNE is expected to forward the report along this week.
Meanwhile, the CREO movement, which was pending to register its representatives today, has had to postpone the event for next Monday. (MZ)
