Leonardo Escobar: Take advantage of the Daule river basin to boost crops

As an agronomist, Leonardo Escobar says that we must pay special attention to the agricultural sector of the province. That is why he assures that he will personally take charge of this issue of reaching the Prefecture of Guayas. He participates for the Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante match, list 7.

Escobar says he will employ the children of the farmers so that they no longer migrate to the big cities.

“We are going to give the ten best university students in the agricultural sector ten hectares for each one in loan, managing loans with BanEcuador; to the ten best students of agricultural colleges; to the ten best farmers in the agricultural centers. That will be the first job of the Agricultural Center of the Prefecture that we will create, “he explains.

He also proposes that supermarket chains buy directly from agricultural producers.

He considers it important to take advantage of the Daule river basin to promote, with irrigation canals, crops that are not exclusive to certain seasons.  (I)
