Libya has New Interim Cabinet
Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) recently announced a new government. Abdurrahim El-Keib, the NTC’s prime minister, announced last Monday the new cabinet.
The defense minister is Osama Al-Juwali, commander of the Zintan Brigade, the one that led the push for Tripoli in August. Other opposition members were also named like Ali Tarhouni as the finance minister and Ibrahim Dabbashi as the new foreign minister.
The new government will run the country until elections are held. However there seem to be tense due to the cabinet composition. The appointments of the cabinet members were made a few days after the captured of the fallen Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi and his son, Seif al-Islam along with a former spy chief Abdullah al-Senussi.
