The leader of the Partido Sociedad Patriotica (PSP), Lucio Gutierrez, debuts as an actor in a film of Ecuadorian history directed by Nixon Chacalama.
The film, entitled “Los Raidistas” recounts the journey that took five Ecuadorians in 1939, from Chone to Quito, to press the government for a road and mark the route to connect the coast with the highlands.
Chacalama’s work took two years of recording, editing, arranging images and search for financing to be completed. In the end, the one who paid to see Los Raidistas finished was former president Gutierrez, who in the film personifies the former dictator General Alberto Enriquez Gallo.
The film will be exhibited in a private event today at 07:00 pm at the Yacht Club in Guayaquil. (MZ)
