Marcia Caicedo, Alberto Acosta’s binomial

Today in the Martin Pescador cultural center, located in Av. America N 34-139 between Rumipamba and Lallemente, the representantive convene of the Coordinadora Plurinacional de las Izquierdas was made, in which it was announced that the binomial of presidential candidate, Alberto Acosta, will be former counselor of the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym), Marcia Elena Caicedo.

“Our binomial is Marcia Caicedo, she is an African woman born in San Lorenzo, Esmeraldas province,” Acosta said through his Twitter account.

In her introductory speech, Caicedo said she’ll politically fight alongside Acosta because “we want a country that would audit the acts of public power“.

Acosta’s government draft proposes public safety, the transformation of Human Development Bond (BDH for its Spanish acronym) in a production and community bonus, food sovereignty and not to drill the Yasuni Reserve for oil extraction. (MZ)
