Now the members of the Farmers Insurance will not only have the health facilities Social Security Institute (IESS) but also will have the services of the Ministry of Health.
José María Egas, director of IESS Health Insurance, said waiting for the next week culminating an evaluation of the amount of existing clinics in both entities and the services each provides. It also plans to unify the costs and facilitating the transfer of accounts between Security and the Ministry of Health.
The changes are due to lack of health centers in the country’s key populations. Egas says that with this implementation is expected that 655 health centers Rural Social Security have the support of the Ministry of Health centers and, therefore, members have better care, especially those in rural areas.
In its latest report by the President Correa said that seeks to improve health services and that where there is a health center, is the IESS or the Ministry, to attend to every citizen and then do a cross entities account for expenses.
