On the website of the Superintendence of Companies, the Ecuadorian cinema chain Multicines appears as the only shareholder of the foreign franchise Cinemark, present in Ecuador.
That is, the seven movie theaters currently operated by Cinemark will not close or stop operating in Ecuador, as was erroneously disclosed on social networks.
Rather, they will expand their services, but now under the commercial acquisition of the Ecuadorian company Multicines.
At the moment, to purchase tickets for one of the performances, users can do so through the Multicines web portal or in the mobile application, available for the Android or iOS operating system.
