National Assembly honors Operation Smile

The Operation Smile Foundation received on Thursday 23 the “Dr. Vicente Rocafuerte” award to Social Merit in the plenary of the National Assembly.
This mention will be granted for the work done on behalf of children with congenital malformations in the country.

Between 2013 and even so far this year, the foundation has performed 15,000 surgical interventions in 44 cities in Ecuador. The operations are free and Ecuadorian and foreign doctors are involved.
