Posted On 10 May 2011

Once again NATO officials denied this Tuesday, that the Libyan leader, Muammar al Gaddafi, is the target of their bombings in Tripoli when the rebels suffered casualties in the east of the country.

After almost three months of the conflict in Libya, the UN estimated that the country could be paralyzed as a consequence of all the chaos and war. After the latest bombing, NATO officials were questioned if Gaddafi is still alive, however they do not have any proof of the current whereabouts of the Libyan dictator.

A series of violent NATO bombings shook Tripoli since last Monday until the dawn of Tuesday, after this attack the status of Gaddafi remains unknown.

Meanwhile in the Eastern sector of Libya, the rebels have advanced 15 kilometers into Misurata, and held their ground by raising barricades this gets them close to Zliten. The quick approach of the rebels depends of the NATO bombings.
