New ecuadorian airline will begin its operations
The new airline form Cuenca named Linea Aerea Cuencana (LAC) reported that on may 13 will start its operations with domestic flights between Cuenca, Guayaquil, Quito and Loja, which will take place from Monday to Sunday, and will have as a base of operations the Mariscal Lamar airport of Cuenca.
The airline, to start its operations, will have an aircraft Bombardier CRJ700, manufactured in Canada, with capacity for 70 passengers and said, through its Facebook account, that the rate of introduction for any of the routes will be 99.99 dollars for a round-trip.
Luis Miguel Astudillo, one of the partners of LAC, said in past months that the Bombardier CRJ700 is the first of a total of three aircraft that would be added to the company’s fleet, and that they will also have an Embraer 145 with capacity for 50 passengers.
On the other hand, Tame, the only Ecuadorian airline that travels to the province of Loja, announced that from May 13 they will be made certain changes in the timetable of their frequencies between Quito, Guayaquil and the air terminal of Camilo Ponce Enríquez of Catamayo.
Flights from Sunday to Friday from Quito to Loja will be held at 07:00, 08:05 and 16:00, return shall be done from the airport of Loja at 08:20 09:25 and 17:20, and on Saturday there will be a single flight in the morning, at 07:00, and the return will be at 08:20.
While flights from Guayaquil to Loja will be 06:00 16:40, and the return to the main port at 07:20 and 17:50, and will be carried out only from Monday to Friday, that is the reason why the citizenship, especially commercial sectors of Loja, ask that they reconsider enable frequencies on weekends.
