New flight destinations between Asia and Oceania could be presented on Ecuador
In the last decade, Ecuador has developed new air navigation systems. The Aeronautical Authorities analyzed and realized the advantageous geographical location of the Ecuadorian territory, which provides a fast connection to other countries across the Pacific Ocean.
The General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) presented in Peru the goals of providing air transport services to these new destinations. The goals also include for local airlines to reach the Asia-Pacific regions directly, without stopping in other countries.
Other countries were present on this international event: United States, France, Chile and Peru. Two international organizations attended too: the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Central American Air Navigation Services Corporation (Cocesna).
These new flight connections are of vital importance to many local travelers who aspire to visit Asia. at the moment, all these destinations can only be reached if one makes connections to other countries such as the United States, Mexico, Panama, or Brazil.
