Nigeria U17 world champion

The African team today dethroned Mexico and became four-time champion of the  U-17 World Cup in Abu Dhabi, by a convincing 3-0.

The Green Eagles, who were crowned in UAE because of its physical deployment, showed that they have a love affair with Asia, as the three previous titles achieved in China, Japan and South Korea .

It was a harsh punishment for Raúl Gutierrez, who, was technically better, worked tirelessly but could not fight against the speed of Africans.

Swede won the trophy Berisha Valmir Golden Boot as top scorer in the World Under -17 Abu Dhabi , with 7 points , 3 of them listed today Argentina , in defining the third since Sweden won 4-1 .

The Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho was proclaimed best player and received the Golden Ball from the president of FIFA, Joseph Blatter.

Nigeria beat defending champion , Mexico , and the African country was crowned U17 world champion since beating Spain on penalties in the final of Korea 2007 . Today once again demonstrated its potential in minor categories.
