The electoral campaign began and the political struggle is not only for the candidates but for the leaders of the groups that embark on the tours, even before.
The mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, toured the country and visited neighborhoods several weeks ago. Not only appears with the candidate of the PSC to be his replacement, he has also done in cities of the Sierra and even wore poncho in one of his trips.
The leader of the CREO movement, Guillermo Lasso, yesterday gave the official start of the campaign of his postulants for the Mayor of Guayaquil and the Prefecture of Guayas. And he did it criticizing Lenin Moreno’s government, calling it “continuismo of the correísta model”.

Other exmandatarios use their social networks to promote the candidates of their groups. Lucio Gutiérrez to the Patriotic Society, announces that this Saturday will campaign in the province of Los Rios. Abdalá Bucaram Ortiz accompanies the promotion of the aspirants of Fuerza Ecuador (FE) and invites proselytizing tours in audios on WhatsApp.
While Alvaro Noboa has resumed the publication in Facebook of his videos from his office, now with the candidates of his party Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante. Some groups chose to wait a few days to start the campaign. (I)
