Older brother of Hugo Chavez denies rumours

Adan Chavez denies rumours
With the growing uncertainty about the current state of health the Venezuelan presidents, his older brother, Adan Chavez, current governor of Barinas, denied rumours and said his brother “is recovering in Cuba and is not in a coma.” He also denied reports that say that the president’s family is discussing the possibility of “disconnecting the equipment” that supposedly keep him alive.
“The information that have spread through the social networks and other media are totally false, the ones that say that the president is in coma and that the family is discussing the alleged disconnection of the equipment that prolonged his life,” said Adan Chavez.
This message was reinforced shortly after by a statement made by the government of Barinas. “The head of state continues assimilating in a good way the treatment and each day his recovery progresses,” said Adan Chavez, who returned to Venezuela last Friday from La Habana.
