After the departure of Pedro Delgado from the Central Bank board, the opposition did not waste time and criticized Alianza PAIS for its stance to protect Delgado during the investigation of the irregular credit of $ 800,000 given by COFIEC bank to Gaston Duzac.

The lawmakers met with the assemblymen Silvia Salgado (PSE); Marllely Vázconez (AP), Fernando Caceres (AP), Eduardo Carriel (AP), Galo Lara (PSP), Abdala Bucaram Pulley (PRE) and Luis Morales (Prian). The Assembly requested to the Comptroller to conduct a review of the asset declarations Francisco Endara Clavijo, brother-in-law of Pedro Delgado, during his period at the Technical Secretariat of the Trust No more impunity. According to the Commission, Endara functions in that period remain unclear.

Meanwhile the Audit Commission investigates the traces of Delgado, the Assembly requested the Commission of Salgado to reopen the case of Duzac because Delgado was never present during the investigation.
