Pakistan Continues to Block NATO Supplies

US militaries left Pakistani airbase due to the suspension of NATO supply routes inAfghanistan for several weeks. Prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani refused to dismiss closing Pakistani airspace to the US military.
Gilani added that there is a “credibility gap” in the relationship with the US. The Prime minister informed that the Pakistani government is reviewing the “terms of engagement” withWashington.
Last Sunday, December 11, eight gunmen surrounded a NATO convoy carrying air fuel was returning from the port city of Karachi. The gunmen killed the driver and set the supplies on fire. (AV)
