Paseo del Parque Highway is open and connects two avenues

Yesterday morning in Guayaquil was opened to traffic the new road Paseo del Parque, which connects the Francisco de Orellana Av. and Narcisa de Jesus.

The work, built by the Public Company Urban Parks and Public Spaces, had a total cost of $ 8,187 235.92.

The concrete road, which will have excellent lighting, has a length of 2,100 meters, 60 meters wide and has 10 lanes, of which six are for speed an four of service.

This route will serve to help decongest  the light and heavy traffic  that affects both roads north of the city. Besides it will benefit of sectors such as Las Orquideas, Mucho Lote, Bastion Popular, among others, who want to move  downtown, or northern areas like La Garzota, Alborada, Sauces and Samanes.

The avenue will also allow lateral entry to the second phase of the sports park, with 56 courts, which includes parking, commercial spaces and tennis courts.
