Police use drones to prevent crimes in Guayaquil

The insecurity in the country did not stop this year; Only in four months the criminals stole their belongings to 9,923 people, according to statistics from the Ecuadorian Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC).

To minimize this crime wave, the Police launched, on the morning of this Sunday, June 16, preventive patrolling with drones. He did it from the Bellavista viewpoint, northeast of the city. It is a strategy implemented in conjunction with the community for better criminal control and citizen security.

A similar project to combat crime in Quito was undertaken in 2016 by the Directorate General of Intelligence. With the drones, which will be directed and monitored by police agents, the institution of order will prevent crimes from being committed.
