PRIAN is getting ready for Sectional Elections
Spokesman of the Partido Renovador Institucional Accion Nacional (PRIAN), Wilson Sanchez Castello, talked about the future of the movement and its participation in the sectional elections of February 2014.
Sanchez revealed that the PRIAN already started the selection of future candidates for sectionals, and completely ruled out the participation of Guayaquil leader and entrepreneur Alvaro Noboa Ponton. “He is our leader and presidential candidate,” he said on declarations to Expreso Newspaper of Guayaquil.
The spokesman did not rule out the possible candidacy of Annabella Azin, wife of Noboa and former candidate for the Vice Presidency of the Republic, and also revealed, as to the candidates for mayor of Quito and Guayaquil, for being the country’s largest cities, those candidates will be chosen on a special debate, without discarding possible alliances with similar groups.
In the 2014 sectionals there will be chosen 23 prefects and vice prefects, 221 mayors, 558 urban councilors, 747 rural councilors and 4.080 parish board members, giving a total of 5.652 dignities.
