Prosecution will present document of Pedro Delgado charge
Today the Attorney General announced that it will meet the request of the National Court and present the expected and controversial document that credits Pedro Delgado as the legal representative of the Management Unit and Implementation of Public Law (Ugedep). This would allow the completion of the arraignment hearing in the case of the irregular loan given to Gaston Duzac.
According to a newsletter, that document was “not necessary” because there are others within the current process that show the legal status of the National Court that the former official enjoys since he based in Miami on December 2012.
Judge Paul Iniguez postponed the arraignment hearing on last Wednesday due to the lack of the document.
“The prosecution is not going to risk this very important process for a formality,” said Attorney General Galo Chiriboga.
