Protests remain in Hong Kong
Posted On 30 Sep 2014
In Hong Kong, dozens of protesters, mainly students, took to the streets to call for a full democracy and demand the resignation of the leader of the city, Leung Chun-ying.
Hong Kong pro-democracy protesters yesterday defied tear gas and the blows of police batons. They stood firm.
“Hong Kong is the Hong Kong of China,” said defiantly the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Relations, Hua Chunying.
The central communist government said they will not tolerate dissent and warned against any foreign interference.
