Reef Classic 2012 Tournament began in Montañita

Reef Classic Montañita 2012 tournament started yesterday. More than 150 surfers from Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil and other countries will play for 5 days the best waves in the longboard, open, ladies and junior categories.

According to reports of waves these days the sea is flat, which could delay the start of testing until tomorrow. According to the weather report medium waves are expected on days 2, 3 and 4 February.

This circuit is the third stop on the series of competitions organized by the American Association of Surfing Professionals.

At the end of the contest “Miss Reef 2012” will be chosen and reggae band One Drop, from San Diego, California will be playing in the event.
