Regular passenger flights will continue to be suspended until May 31 at Ecuadorian airports.
A Notam (information document for flights) issued by the Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) confirms the suspension of flights until that date. The Aviation Ecuador Twitter account, dedicated to aeronautical issues, disclosed the Notam.
The Government had anticipated that the flights were still suspended, but had not specified dates. The Emergency Operations Committee has also not specified a restart of flights at the terminals.
The only guaranteed flights for these days are the emergency, humanitarian, state, military and cargo flights.
The DGAC is gradually authorizing humanitarian flights to different airlines. Travel agencies are coordinating those flights.
