Retirees will denounce state law that eliminates contribution for retirement pensions

Alfonso Yanez, from the IESS Defense Committee, indicated that the act that eliminates the 40% state contribution for retirement pensions was received “with outrage.” Yanez also said the executive branch, as provided by law, must analyze the reform within 30 days, so the committee will demand the unconstitutionality of the law.

Representatives of the Retirees Front will concentrate today at the IESS headquarters to bring forward the constitutional claim against the government. On the other hand, representatives of the Federation of Retirees will resort to the Office of the President to reach an agreement.
