Roberto Gilbert presents candidacy for president of Emelec

Yesterday, Roberto Gilbert Febres-Cordero filed his candidacy for president of the soccer team Club Sport Emelec.

Gilbert did not submit a list of who will accompany him on the campaign and said it was still unknown whether or not to ratify current coach Marcelo Fleitas, if he is elected. He also announced that he will seek national center forwards to increase the offensive capability of the “millionaires” team.

Elections will be held this January 13th.
