Roberto Gómez Bolaños ‘Chespirito’ dies
Today, Friday November 28, the actor and comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños aka ‘Chespirito’ died, reported Televisa.
According to the broadcaster, the comedian would have died at his home in Cancun, at the age of 85 years.
Roberto Gómez Bolaños was internationally known for the TV series El Chavo del Ocho, where he played a child living in a neighborhood of Mexico City.
The first chapter of this series was broadcast in June 1971 and his most famous characters were: El Chavo, El Chapulin Colorado, El Chanfle, Chompiras, among others.
After more than four decades of being premiered, his programs are still on the screens of Latin America.
Gómez Bolaños was born in Mexico City and was married to actress Florinda Meza, who was also his co-star on numerous occasions.
