Jorge Glas Viejo
Lawyers Jose Navarrete Vera, Ginger Mendoza and Leonor Murillo Sevillano, the officials of the Second Chamber of Labor, Children and Adolescents, analysed the action of clarification and expansion on the judgement issued by the chamber , against Jorge Heriberto Glas Viejo, father of the elected vice President, Jorge Glas, and confirmed the paternity of the defendant of a child of 14 months, son of a minor under 14-years who claims to have been raped by Glas Viejo.
On October 7, 2012 Judge Martha Guerrero, in the absence of Glas Viejo who didn’t attend the calls for DNA testing requested within the process, judicially declared Glas Viejo father of the 14-month infant.
The providence of the chamber specifies that “for the elements exposed, and not being able to find the judgement in the cases provided in art. 282 in relation to article 281 of the Civil Procedure Code the request for clarification and expansion is refused for inadmissible,” which was requested by the lawyer, Hector Davalos Peredo, counsellor for the accused.
